A reverse osmosis kitchen tap is a two-channel single-lever mixer: as well as mixing hot and cold mains water like a normal tap, it has a second inlet connected to an under-sink reverse osmosis unit, allowing you to choose mains or filtered water from the same tap.
This family has two versions. The fixed-spout version integrates the filtered-water selector into the tap control, using either a rotary selector or an independent channel selector. The pull-out reverse osmosis version adds a detachable shower-style head, with filtered water selected using a push start/stop button on the head, combining filtration with pull-out convenience.
In both versions, the body is brass (IMEX) or AISI 304 stainless steel (GME), with a Ø35mm or Ø40mm ceramic cartridge depending on the model, and finishes including chrome, matt black, brushed nickel, brushed gold, brushed rose gold or black gun metal.

What is the difference between fixed and pull-out reverse osmosis taps?

What material are they made from?

Do they need any special installation beyond the reverse osmosis unit?
Do they need any special installation beyond the reverse osmosis unit?
The tap installation is the same as any single-lever tap (standard 3/8" connection hoses). The only extra step is connecting the second channel to the reverse osmosis unit's outlet.
Can the head on the pull-out reverse osmosis version detach?
Can the head on the pull-out reverse osmosis version detach?
No. It connects to an internal hose with an automatic return system, like standard pull-out taps, so it does not come loose or lose its position with use.
Pull-out taps
The head detaches from the spout and extends with its own hose to reach every corner of the sink or fill large pots and containers easily. Depending on the model, the spray head offers up to three water functions.
- Pull-out head with up to 3 spray functions
- Greater reach for washing and filling containers
- Brass body with ceramic cartridge
Non-pull-out taps
No detachable head or parts that can come loose with use: the spout is fixed or flexible but always one piece. All models have a brass body and ceramic cartridge for smooth, long-lasting operation.
- No pull-out parts to wear out
- Brass body and ceramic cartridge
- Standard 3/8" connection hoses
Reverse osmosis taps
Two-channel single-lever taps: one for mains water and another for water already filtered by your under-sink reverse osmosis system, without a second tap.
- Two water channels in one tap
